Shoes.com is looking for an experienced PM with a proven track record of building high quality, scalable products for the web. You should be a leader, excelling in communication, ownership and customer focus. This is a unique and rare opportunity within a fast-growing business to help shape the product and the business. The ideal candidate will be intensely motivated and will bring deep organizational and resource planning expertise along with the ability to work within a fast-moving, startup environment to deliver solid products that have broad business impact. Our Senior Project Manager must be positive, creative, and a clear communicator who can provide leadership to the Project Management Office (PMO) and Technology team.

Upon coming on board you can expect to:

• Become a significant team player who is empowered to work not only with the Technology team but also with the rest of the organization
• Collaborate with Design, Marketing, Merchandising, Architecture and Development teams to create, garner buy-in and execute our Technology and Infrastructure roadmaps
• Prioritize / triage project work and production support tickets
• Work with all parts of our organization to develop focused strategies, that align various goals and timelines, while building rapport to obtain buy-in
• Effectively communicate project status, highlight successes, and work on removing obstacles among all business partners
• Partner with other members of the Technology team to ensure we are exhibiting operational excellence by producing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), solid requirements documentation and technical specification

This role may be for you if you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• 5+ years technical project management experience, working directly with developers
• Experience managing both large-scale initiatives and quick-turnaround projects
• Experience with agile and waterfall development methodologies
• Experience with Microsoft Project to help develop detailed project plans, track progress, plan resources, etc.
• Monitor progress (issues, risks, metrics, status reports, etc.) to ensure the project is on schedule
• Excellent communication skills, ability to prioritize, strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to partner with business users and present to senior management
• Eagerness to jump in and help out in any way, as necessary. May include BA/QA assistance at times
• Ability to accommodate quick changes in project priority and resource allocation in a fast-moving development environment to align with Shoes.com strategic initiatives
• Familiarity with web-based issue tracking tools such as JIRA or Confluence
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) a plus
